Project Description

Mining exploration with core recovery at Mina CGN was carried out by means of tricone and mud drilling, in addition to diamond drilling to achieve depths of up to 50 meters.

Solution

Drilling of a series of vertical and inclined boreholes were carried out at depths of up to 50 meters, for a total of 7,000 lm, whose diamond drilling was carried out with the proposed diameter of HQ-3 and crushing bits or tricones for rock cutting, considering the extraction of some cores by drilling. The basic sludge program consisted of the implementation of liquid or granular organic polymers, and/or bentonite, as well as special additives for loss of circulation and clay dispersion.
