Project Description
The original design of the expansion of the Juan Díaz WWTP consisted of a deep foundation using rotary piles of 600 mm diameter and from 20 to 27 meters deep, in a predominantly organic clay soil (lama) and with an embedment in weathered rock of 5 to 7 meters.
Solution
Rodio Swissboring proposed a foundation solution based on CFA piles for the project, to achieve an improvement in execution times and costs.
