The VAS project (Vía Alterna del Sur) is a project that arises as a road option, alternative to existing public roads, and seeks to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of those who reside, work or move around in the surroundings. Rodio Swissboring has participated in the protection of the slopes generated by the road line.
Rodio Swissboring has participated in the slope stabilization of several sections of the VAS project. Some of the sections in which we have had the opportunity to work are:
- Subtramo 11 – “La Isla”
- Las Manilas
- Subtramo 7 – “La Muela”
In all the sections mentioned above, the slope stabilization was carried out through the construction of Anchored Walls and Soil Nailing. These walls have anchors of up to 105 tons of capacity and thicknesses of up to 0.35m.
